Yes. Huayun’s service team offers multilingual support, including English, French, and more. The booking process also supports multilingual interfaces for convenience.

The booking process has four steps:

  1. Contact exclusive customer service or visit the official website or mini-program to select your route.
  2. Add custom services if needed, such as travel photography packages or private tour guides.
  3. Confirm payment.
  4. Receive your e-ticket and itinerary by email.

Because the tourist special train is chartered, travel agencies must pay performance bonds to the railway department and make hotel deposits in advance. The cancellation policy is:

  • If the booking is canceled for personal reasons after the travel deposit has been collected, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • The balance must be paid 30 days before departure.
  • If the balance is not paid in full for personal reasons, it is treated as an automatic waiver and the deposit is non-refundable.
  • If the trip is canceled 15 to 29 days before departure, 50% of the contract amount will be charged.
  • If the trip is canceled 1 to 14 days before departure, 70% of the contract amount will be charged.
  • If the trip is canceled on the day of departure, 85% of the contract amount will be charged.
  • Travelers can modify their travel arrangements up to three days before departure without penalty, except when airline tickets have already been purchased on their behalf.

Passengers need to arrive at the station in advance. Travelers are advised to arrive one hour or more before departure.

  • Guns, ammunition, flammables, and explosives
  • Controlled knives
  • Toxic, corrosive, radioactive, infectious, and dangerous items
  • Strong magnetic substances that may interfere with the train signal
  • Items with strong irritating or foul smells
  • Live animals, except guide dogs
  • Items that may hinder public health or damage station and train equipment
  • Aerosol containers such as nail polish, hair spray, insecticide, and air freshener

For alcohol:

  • Up to 2 bottles of white spirits above 50% alcohol by volume are allowed
  • Total volume must not exceed 1000 ml
  • Bulk wine, repackaged wine, and spirits above 70% alcohol by volume are prohibited
